My name is Pamela Port and I have been a Psychotherapist for the past 14 years. I have run a successful private practice in Balham and Clapham, London. I am now based in Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire. I also offer online sessions so you can have therapy from the comfort of your own home. I also run a face-to-face practice based in Catterick Garrison. I am committed to providing counselling in a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental environment.
Professional Qualifications
I have completed my BSc (Hons) Psychology and also have a Masters Degree in Humanistic Integrative Counselling. The Humanistic Integrative Approach incorporates a variety of therapeutic models from Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Gestalt, Transpersonal and Transactional Analysis. I am not confined to one specific approach as I believe that different therapeutic models work for different people as everyone is unique.
I have done extensive training in Trauma and Complex Trauma plus completed Somatic Trauma Therapy. I also work with Dissociative Identity Disorder, Eating Disorders, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I have trained in Addictions however, I tend to work with that less now. I have done extensive training in Trauma and Complex Trauma.
